Job Title: Senior Security Engineer** **Location: East Midlands (Covering East Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Derby)** **Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + Overtime & Door-to-Door Pay** We are working with a reputable and well-established **Fire & Security company** seeking a technically skilled **Senior Engineer** in the East Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who can bring their expertise and technical knowledge to the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Service, repair, and maintenance** of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. - Conduct routine **preventative maintenance inspections (PMI)** and ensure systems comply with industry standards. - **Fault-finding and diagnostics** on fire and security systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly. - Carry out **small installation works** and system upgrades on commercial properties. - **System commissioning**: Conduct functional testing of installed systems to ensure full operational capability. - Perform **surveys** for new installations and assess customer requirements, preparing detailed reports and recommendations. - Maintain accurate **service records** and produce high-quality reports following site visits. - Ensure compliance with **BS5839**, **BS6266**, and other relevant industry regulations. **Required Area Coverage:** - Covering East Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, and Derby. **Working Hours:** - Contracted 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. - **Optional overtime** available at time and a half. - **Door-to-door pay** ensures you’re compensated for travel time. **What We’re Offering:** - **Competitive salary** up to £40,000 per annum, based on experience. - **Overtime opportunities** to enhance your earning potential. - Focus on **training and personal development**, with ongoing support for further certifications and skills development. - Exposure to diverse systems, including advanced fire detection, IP CCTV systems, and integrated access control. - Company vehicle and fully equipped tools provided for your role. **Requirements:** - Minimum of **5 years of experience** in the fire and security industry, with hands-on expertise in **fire alarm**, **intruder alarm**, **CCTV**, and **access control systems**. - **Experience with manufacturers** such as Advanced, Gent, Apollo, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, and Paxton. - **Relevant industry qualifications** such as FIA, BAFE certifications, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of **BS5839** and other relevant safety standards. - Full UK driving license. **Apply Today!** If you are interested in this technical role or know someone who would be a great fit, please get in touch
