JOB DETAILS: Location - Halesowen Position - Year 1 Type of work - Across the primary phase (unless specified) Contract or position start date - January Duration - Ongoing Contract or position end date - Ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Part time (3 days) Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Year 1 Teacher to join the team starting in January 2024. The successful candidate will work three days a week, inspiring and guiding young learners in their early educational journey. Key Responsibilities: · Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. · Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development. · Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. · Support the social and emotional well-being of students. · Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices. · Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians. Qualifications: · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). · Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Year 1. · Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young children.
