Site Manager

Job Title: Site Manager Location: Various sites within 40 miles of Walsall Rate: £300-£350 per day (PAYE) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil engineering, with a preference for water-related projects. You will be responsible for managing direct delivery teams and subcontractors, ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage direct delivery teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support. Liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are met and maintain strong relationships. Coordinate temporary works and ensure all documentation is in place. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments. Qualifications: Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, NVQ Level 4 or above. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Site Manager role, preferably within heavy civil engineering. Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities. Proven experience in managing direct delivery teams and subcontractors. Ability to manage client expectations effectively.
