Conveyancing Paralegal

A vacancy has arisen to join a successful St Albans law firm, reporting to the Head of Property. About you: You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a law firm and have dealt with Sales and Purchase Residential Conveyancing Transactions, be exceptionally organised and methodical and ready to hit the ground running. The role: * Ability to deal with Sale & Purchase Transactions (with Fee Earners guidance) * Draft and send out Contract Packs * Order Freehold/Leasehold Management Packs * Correspond with Management Companies * Provide updates to estate agents and clients as required * Order Redemption Statements * Assist clients with and reply to enquiries raised * Exchange Contracts * Draft Completion Statements * Attend to completion * Order Searches * Review Mortgage Offers * Review replies to enquiries * Provide updates to estate agents and clients as required * Draft Transfer Deeds * Draft Deed of Covenant * Carry out pre-exchange searches (priority and bankruptcy) * Exchange contracts * Submit Certificates of Title to Lenders * Draft Completion Statements * Attend to completion * Ability to deal with post completion matters where required Due to a very high number of applications we are unable to come back to every candidate with feedback.
