Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. 9am starts (8-10 hour shifts). Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour PAYE. Location: Carlisle, CA6. Job Type: Temp to perm with employed or self-employed opportunities. The role: * Specialising in courier work across England and Scotland. * Upon successful completion of the probation period, the position will transition to a set rota schedule. * Perform 60-100 stops per day, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and collections. * Utilise electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems to manage deliveries. * Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism. * Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. * Manage time efficiently to ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled hours. Requirements: * A valid UK driver's license with 1-year proven van experience. * Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles. * Excellent time management and organisational skills For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch
