Job description - the role
Due to exciting growth opportunities, our client is looking to fill 20 Semi -Skilled Operator positions across their Derby facility on initial 12-month contacts. We are seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals to integrate into our existing teams across a variety of processes; machining, inspecting, chemical processing, blasting or polishing.
We welcome applications from individuals with transferrable skills. Certain roles will require a high level of dexterity and/or frequent physical activity, including lifting.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has process experience within the aerospace industry; advantageous, it is not essential
- Has experience of following technical instructions and records, and basic computer literacy
- Will be flexible to adapt to meet our business needs.
- The ability to work across a 2 or 3 shift pattern is essential
- Will comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, to take care of themselves and their colleagues
