We have a new opportunity available for a Trainee Administrator, based in Langford, which is just outside of Maldon. Due to the remote area, and limited transport links, your own transport is required. This offers an annual salary of £23,500 to £25,000 per annum plus benefits. Benefits include holiday which is 25 days (rising to 26 with 2 years service, and 27 days on 5 years service) pension, local parking, career progression and a great working environment. Your official job title will be Trainee Customs Process Administrator, as you will be trained in Customs documentation and this opportunity is a rare chance to start your career within the industry. In this role, you will learn how to process and be responsible for client data which is required for shipping. This will include how to follow and apply customs and excise duties and procedures as appropriate. You will be using a variety of systems, and you will be working in a fast-paced work environment where a keen eye for detail is essential. Every transaction you manage has the potential to make huge savings for their clients and that is what their reputation is built on. As they support global customers, you will work on a rota to ensure customers always have the support they need. The working hours are 8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, with one early shift of 8 am to 4 pm or one late shift of 11.45 am to 7.45 pm per week. You will also work one weekend per month, working Saturday 10 am to 1.30 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm, with 1 day off in lieu when you work the weekend. To be considered for this opportunity you will need… * A minimum of 5 GCSEs graded 4 (C) or above including English and Maths. * Access to your own vehicle, due to their remote location. * To be computer literate and confident to learn new systems. * Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and organisation skills. * Numeracy and confidence in working with numbers. * Some office-based working experience would be preferred, but this is not essential.
