Job Title: Microsoft 365 Engineer Location: London Salary: £630 per day Job Type: Contract About the Role:* We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to join a Central Government team, supporting essential operations through secure, efficient, and high-performing M365 services. This role offers the chance to work on critical government projects, ensuring that Microsoft 365 technologies—such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive—are optimized for reliability and security. Key Responsibilities: - Manage, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 services to maximize security and performance. - Provide expert-level support for M365 technologies, collaborating with the ICT Service Delivery team to develop secure, scalable IT solutions. - Support high-level stakeholders by ensuring a seamless experience across M365 products. - Implement and monitor best practices in data protection and compliance within a highly regulated environment. - Develop and maintain process documentation, knowledge base articles, and disaster recovery protocols. What We're Looking For: - Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 administration, particularly within secure or regulated environments. - Familiarity with M365 security practices, including access control, compliance, and identity management. - Proficiency in PowerShell, Active Directory, and Azure AD. - Strong communication skills and experience liaising with senior government stakeholders. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents within strict SLAs.
