Electrical Contracts Manager

Role Description I am seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager for a Electrical and Building services company based in London. The Electrical Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing a recently awarded FIRE SAFETY WORKS contract, starting December 2024. The scope includes the following: • Fire detection and alarm systems (including smoke and heat detectors within dwellings and integrated systems in common parts) • Evacuation alert systems (to be used by Fire & Rescue Service) • Installation of fire / smoke dampers within flats onto communal ducts • Emergency and communal lighting • Smoke ventilation systems (mechanical and natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems including AOVs) There is a 3 stage interview process 1st teams, second face to face with manager, 3rd interview with director Qualifications * 5+ years experience in electrical project management and contract management skills * Knowledge of building regulations and electrical codes * Experience in coordinating with clients and contractors * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to manage project schedules and budgets effectively * Detail-oriented and organized approach to work * Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field * BS 8629,2019 – Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Evacuation Alert Systems
