PCB Electrical Engineer - London

We are seeking an engineer with a background in electrical or electronic engineering and a minimum of three years of experience in PCB design and embedded software development. Key Responsibilities: Initially, you will focus on capturing the design specifications and familiarizing yourself with the current design. As the project progresses, you will collaborate with the CTO and electrical engineer to refine design requirements through feedback from surgeons and market research. You will continue the development of the product’s electronic components, including PCB design (component selection, schematic capture, and layout) and software design. Planning and documenting the development process, as well as coordinating with regulatory bodies, testing facilities, and consultants, will be part of your role. You will work closely with a regulatory specialist to ensure that all development processes comply with our Quality Management System (QMS). As the project evolves, you will assist in the transition from concept to design for manufacturing, including Verification and Validation testing, and prepare for product launch. Required Skills and Experience: Proven track record in delivering PCBs, including: Component selection, Schematic capture, Layout design Proficiency in programming languages suitable for embedded systems and microcontrollers (e.g., Python, C). Experience selecting and implementing software tools necessary for PCB and embedded software development.
