We are currently seeking a skilled veterinary nurse to join a lovely practice in Cheshire. They provide high quality care to their patients in a supportive and friendly environment. They are a well-established vet practice with a strong commitment to animal health and welfare. In this role, you will assist in delivering excellent clinical care to a wide variety of animals while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for their owners. If you’re passionate about animal care and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities : Provide nursing care for animals during their stay, including post-operative recovery, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by the veterinary team. Assist with diagnostic procedures, radiographs, blood tests, and laboratory work. Perform routine nursing duties such as wound care, bandaging, and administering vaccines. Prepare and assist with surgeries, including anesthetic monitoring. Offer client education on pet care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Essential Skills & Experience : Qualified Veterinary Nurse (RVN or equivalent). Previous experience in a veterinary practice preferred, but not essential.
