About the role: Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is specifically tailored for an experienced TA with a background in supporting low-achieving students. As a TA focusing on English and Mathematics boosters, you will work closely with students who need that extra support to achieve their academic goals. Your role will involve small group interventions and one-on-one support, making a significant impact on students' progress. While a formal qualification is preferred, we welcome candidates with substantial Key Stage 2 experience who are dedicated to helping students succeed. Application Requirements:• Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 students.• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially in English and Mathematics.• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.• A patient, empathetic approach to working with children, especially those who face challenges in their learning. Key Responsibilities:• Provide targeted support to low-achieving students in Key Stage 2, focusing on English and Mathematics.• Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver effective booster sessions.• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.• Assist with classroom management and organization as needed.
