Facilities Help Desk Operator Salary: £32,000 per year Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM We are looking for a proactive and organized Facilities Help Desk Operator to join our team and deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. In this role, you will support reactive and planned maintenance activities for site teams and supply partners, while helping to streamline operations through technical support and the use of CMMS software. This position requires an individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring compliance with all legislative, environmental, and policy standards. Main Responsibilities: * Provide help desk support, logging and prioritizing work orders, and coordinating responses within contract SLA timelines. * Manage and update completed work orders, record labor hours, and ensure work order details are thorough and accurate. * Report on Help Desk performance metrics, assist with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and manage contractor schedules. * Coordinate technical service planning, ensure supplier RAMS are in place, and keep CMMS records up to date. * Support the engineering team with service delivery, including handling customer complaints and assisting with parts ordering. * Conduct Safety Walks and maintain organized compliance and subcontractor records. * Collaborate with finance to finalize payments and verify supplier readiness with all required safety documentation. * Utilize Maximo and Excel for planning, task coordination, and to identify follow-up actions from supplier reports.
