Welder fabricator

Position: TIG Welder / Fabricator / Fitter * Salary: 40,000 pa * Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:30 * Location: Boden Hill sn15 Day-to-Day Duties: * TIG welding stainless steel and other metals (1.5mm upwards) * Fabricating and pipefitting in the workshop and at client sites * Reading and understanding technical drawings * Operating equipment such as press brake, guillotine, rolls, and bandsaw * Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations * Collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines * Maintaining a professional and detail-oriented approach to work * Occasional overtime as required by customer demand Experience and Skills Required: * Minimum 5 years welding experience (with references) * Strong understanding of engineering/fabrication workshop operations * Knowledge of mechanical systems is beneficial * Experience in sheet metal work and pipefitting * Previous experience in food/dairy manufacturing environments (desirable) * Coded welder certification (desirable) * Familiarity with Permit to Work documentation and writing RAMS (desirable) Remuneration/Benefits: * 29 days holiday including bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Training opportunities (Confined Space, FLT, First Aid, IPAF) Requirements: * Full UK driving license * Eligibility to work in the UK * References required Application Process: * Immediate start post successful interview and weld test Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Manufacturing Workforce are responsible for placing skilled and in demand people on both a permanent and contract basis into the Engineering, Technical and Manufacturing sectors, from skilled Shop Floor Personnel and Specialist Engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.
