Job Duties:
Provide individualised English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students
Develop tailored lesson plans to address each student's specific learning needs
Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Encourage student engagement and motivation in the subjects
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English and Maths at the Key Stage 3 level
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working with students on a one-to-one basis, either in-person or remotely. The tutor will be responsible for creating a conducive learning environment and maintaining regular communication with students and their families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
