Plant Manager - EfW Power Station Newport Around £90,000 + Benefits Alecto Recruitment is keen to hear from Shift Team Leaders, Operations Managers, Site Managers or Plant Managers who have experience overseeing a Process Facility Ideally within the EfW sector or similar, interested in a full-time permanent role in South Wales. Job Brief You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Plant and the safe and efficient operation to ensure critical decisions are made in a safe and professional manner including; Ensure that the plant is operated safely, reliably and efficiently while achieving the key performance indicators (KPIs) and site performance targets agreed. Providing technical supervision and assistance where necessary for company and contract staff engaged in work. Responsible for building and maintaining the plants safety culture and performance, delivering, and maintaining good industrial practice. Providing effective training and monitoring of staff to ensure personnel are competent to undertake their duties, this includes reviews. Development Plans Working on outage planning (and assisting during outages), plant improvement projects and plant optimisation projects. Working within the Company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.Requirements Experience as a Plant Manager / Site Manager on a process plant. WAMITAB, IOSH or NEBOSH Ideal. Experience working within the Waste, AD, CCGT, Biomass, CHP or Biomass Industry. A relevant technical qualification such as an ONC/HNC/HNC/Degree in an engineering discipline At least 5 years' experience in an operational environment on a power station with Supervisory experience.Package Salary is £85,000 - £95,000 plus benefits.
