The Role You will join a busy team of Regularity Analysts in our Commercial and Regulation team where you will engage on all regulatory matters such as multiyear price controls and revenue assessments; progress funding submissions; and manage incentive arrangements and regulatory reporting, as well as ensure SONI licence compliance. You will be responsible for: Leading on regulatory related projects including Price Control Implementation and Regulatory Reporting processes and enhancements. Licence Compliance Tracking & delivery of allocated licence related submissions to the Utility Regulator. Regulatory support for Single Electricity Market Projects and initiatives. Regulatory support for NI Energy Strategy Action Plan initiatives. Support processes to report and monitor SONI performance both in term of services and outcome and in terms of regulatory and budget allocations. Regular engagement with the Utility Regulator and NIE Networks on licence related issues. Working collaboratively with teams across all areas of the business on regulatory matters. Other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Head of Commercial and Regulation. Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Criteria Hold a degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a closely related discipline. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, working in a multidisciplinary environment. Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities with attention to detail, coupled with the ability to make reasoned judgements based on available information. Strong financial and commercial awareness and proficient in the use of MS Excel. Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to summarise and communicate complex issues. Ability to draft documentation in a rational, evidence-based, clear and concise manner. Excellent organisation and time management skills - ability to meet deadlines with high quality deliverables. Demonstrated flexible working approach with ability to lead and prioritise a wide range of demands and activities whilst maintaining a professional and positive focus. Ability to guide, persuade and influence others through developed skills of communication and diplomacy. Desirable Criteria Experience of working in a regulated organisation or regulator, and/or of working in an energy environment. Experience of policy analysis, competition law, regulatory economics. Project management experience or working in a project-based environment.
