Platform Engineering Lead

Platform Engineering Lead Job Details: Type: Permanent Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 Location: Remote (London Office)We are excited to partner with a global brand based in the West End, seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Lead with strong Azure and DevOps expertise. You will play a critical role in the cloud platform team, driving cloud migrations and Azure-based infrastructure design, with a cloud-first approach. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Bicep and CI/CD tools. Automate deployment, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and improve performance. Ensure compliance with security policies and document systems and processes. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to junior IT team members.Key Skills: Extensive experience with Azure cloud services. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell and/or Python. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Microsoft Azure certifications are an advantage. Previous experience in a Platform Engineering Lead or similar DevOps role
