We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated
Head Chef
to join our busy all year-round kitchen team. The hours are predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work in the conference period. Working alongside the Catering Management & be responsible for the leadership and management of the food offer on campus. Driving operational consistency, innovation and exceptional quality. This will involve managing an enthusiastic kitchen team supporting the farm to fork University ethos. Some of the main duties of the role are: To be responsible for a bold, innovative & impactful food offer within the department. To cost & produce exciting modern menus to suit a variety of clients & budgets from student meals to external corporate events. Oversee and manage operations and hospitality events in co-ordination with the Catering Operations Manager to agreed quality & service standards. To supervise the preparation, presentation and service of food items for students, staff and functions, establishing standardised recipes, to quality standards.
