Health and Safety Administrator Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Primarily based in one of the main depots with occasional travel to other depots. Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to support their expanding team. This role may suit someone with warehouse experience who has actively contributed to a Health and Safety Committee and is looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and administration of health and safety policies across the company's depots. Support the implementation of health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records, including incident reports, risk assessments, and audit documentation. Coordinate and manage the health and safety training matrix, ensuring certifications such as Forklift and IPAF are current across all teams. Liaise with depot teams to ensure health and safety procedures are being followed and assist in promoting a safety-first culture. Participate in accident investigations and help implement corrective actions where needed. Schedule and help prepare health and safety meetings, taking minutes and following up on action points. Provide administrative support for health and safety audits, including ISO and other industry standards. Assist in compiling reports and data for senior management on health and safety performance.Qualifications & Experience: Experience working in a warehouse or operational environment with involvement in a Health and Safety Committee or a similar role. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with different teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with managing records and documentation. A proactive attitude towards safety and continuous improvement.Personal Attributes: A methodical and organised approach to tasks. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions to improve safety standards. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
