Interim Marketing and Communications Lead

6 Months FTC - £70,000 to £80,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced Communication and Marketing Lead to join our clients dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing their marketing strategies while ensuring seamless communication across all platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record in strategic marketing planning, corporate communication management, and process optimisation. Our client is works aross government, business, academia, and non-profit sectors to address climate change and advocate for sustainable solutions. Key duties: 1.To conduct a comprehensive team assessment Evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, and dynamics of the current marketing and communications team to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. 2.Reorganise and streamline the Marketing and Communications Function In conjunction with the People Director, assess the current structure of the marketing and communications department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring streamlined operations and where appropriate reduced overhead. 3.Develop and Implement a Strategic Marketing Plan Create a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals, ensuring it leverages both internal capabilities and the expertise of the outsourced media company. 4.Establish Robust Processes and Policies Implement new processes and policies across the business to drive consistency, compliance, and improved performance within the marketing and communications function.
