Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do. On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Remediation Project Manager for a 6-month long contract based in Swindon (hybrid). As a Remediation Project Manager, you will be: Responsible for the day-to-day management of Remediation projects through the full lifecycle from inception through to close-down. This will involve scoping, planning, managing, estimating, and delivering change. Accountable for delivering and managing successful Remediation projects against agreed delivery plan(s) to time, quality & cost. This will involve business readiness and implementation. Responsible for assessing the solutions linked to the remediation project, ensuring that they meet the needs of our members and that they comply with regulations. Responsible for identifying and utilising the appropriate delivery methodology ensuring that deliverables are fit for purpose and enable the defined outcomes. Leading a team within the Delivery Management capability, working alongside Delivery Value to ensure that resource is allocated to the right place at the right time. Responsible for removing blockers and the pro-active identification, communication, and resolution of risks and issues, as well as working alongside Delivery Value to asses and apply continuous improvement measures in in-flight Remediation projects. Responsible for capturing, reviewing, sharing and enacting on lessons learnt through the programme lifecycle. Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside of the Remediation CoE ensuring that work is delivered on time, to the required quality, and aligning to the CoE principles. What we're looking for: Experience of working on customer-led remediation projects Excellent knowledge and experience in change and readiness including project management, inception, delivery, readiness and demand planning Strong business acumen and experience of working in the financial services industry Knowledge and experience of working with different change methodologies, e.g. Agile and Waterfall Proven experience of working with stakeholders at different levels including identifying, engaging, managing expectations, and communicating with confidence Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with the ability to challenge and influence where required Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and work with others to shape solutions, with a clear focus on detail as well as putting things right for our members and customers Enthusiasm and a pro-active, collaborative, and professional approach Experience of working in a fast-paced and challenging environment This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
