For the strongest team within process automation and industrial IT As part of our ambitious growth strategy, Au2mate Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic, high-performing sales team in the UK. Au2mate is a global provider of MIS, MES, and automation solutions, specialising in the dairy and related industries. Our solutions are developed using platforms from the industry’s leading PLC/SCADA/MES system providers and customised to meet each client's specific needs. Our new colleague will have the following areas of responsibility: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales budgets for Au2mate (Northern office area) order intake and contribution margin Identify new business opportunities and grow the client base across various food and beverage industries, including greenfield and brownfield projects, process automation upgrades, and promotion of other comprehensive services and products offered. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and customers to foster trust and encourage repeat business. Participation in ensuring that Au2mate Ltd projects are sold in accordance with Au2mate’s standards and agreed best practices Participation in/handling of the development of sales tools (quotations/CRM/etc) Handover of orders to project execution. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities and position the company as a leader in process automation solutions. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and seminars to increase brand visibility and drive new leads. Work closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure seamless project execution within the agreed-upon work scope and customer satisfaction. Liaise with technical teams to develop and refine service offerings based on market demands and technological advancements. Provide senior management with regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights. Maintain a detailed understanding of the sales pipeline, providing accurate revenue projections and identifying areas for improvement You should ideally have the following professional and personal qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management, specifically within PLC/SCADA solutions or automation services. Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technologies. Familiarity with industry standards, service lifecycle, and relevant platforms from major automation vendors (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, AVEVA, etc.) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a proven ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage complex sales cycles from lead generation through to close. Experience with dairy processes or similar Experience with ISA S88 and/or S95 standards would be beneficial Masters English at a high level Positive and entrepreneurship Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
