Encourage different ways to communicate and, learn specialist communication methods such as, Makaton, Sign Language, PECS and, TEACHH. Will work to significantly improve stutters, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, selective mutism and speech delay. Liaising with the class teacher, therapists and, support staff. Monitor and report on students' progress, adjusting support plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.Requirements of a Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and, colleagues.
