Enterprise Security Architect

Position Overview: The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for designing, building, and implementing robust security solutions. Role and Responsibilities: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design customized solutions using a varied technology stack (Cloud AWS, IAM providers such as Ping and ForgeRock and API gateways such as Kong, Mulesoft etc) Work with DevOps teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, availability, and cost, and provide recommendations for cost optimisation and resource utilisation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing and training initiatives. Stay current with relevant technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams. Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures. Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, and proposal development, as needed. Requirements/Qualifications and Skills: Experience in Financial Services domain. AWS landing zone experience is required. Preference for consulting or services provider experience. At least 5 years of experience in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions, including but not limited to AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MongoDB, Kong API Gateway and Ping IAM. At least 5 years technical experience with cloud technologies and/or on-premises infrastructure. 4-5 years large-scale customer facing experience (e.g., enterprise). Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security. Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
