Music Teacher – Mainstream Secondary School in Telford Are you passionate about delivering engaging and creative Music lessons to young people in a dynamic school setting? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join their passionate teaching team. You will play a key role in inspiring young musicians, delivering exciting and varied music lessons that foster both academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Delivering engaging and inclusive Music lessons to students of varying abilities. Encouraging creativity, self-expression, and confidence through a diverse and rich music curriculum. Supporting students both academically and emotionally, fostering a love for music. Collaborating with colleagues to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that promotes progress. Organising and leading musical performances, extracurricular clubs, and events to enrich the school’s musical life. Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to support continuous improvement. Inspiring curiosity, practical skills, and a deep understanding of music theory and performance. The successful Music Teacher will have: A genuine passion for teaching Music and making it accessible to all students. Experience in delivering engaging and innovative Music lessons in a secondary school setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community. A commitment to nurturing students’ talents and helping them achieve their full potential. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Knowledge of a range of musical genres and the ability to incorporate technology into music education.
