Looking for a role in Education that is creative, nurtures talent and provides an opportunity to support children beyond the classroom setting? Tradewind are recruiting for a unique opportunity as a before, after school and holiday club manager! On behalf of our wonderful school in Stockport, we are actively seeking a school club manager who will be responsible of all staff within the setting as well as the welfare of the children attending. The role is based on 30 hours per week (7am-9am and 2:30pm - 6:30pm) and is on a permanent basis all year round. The role will pay an attractive salary of up to £29,000 and offers a rewarding role that suits passionate educators to support children in a school setting beyond the classroom curriculum. Children attending the club will be ages 4-11 in a safe secure environment and the successful applicant will be responsible for the organisation and high standards of before and after school care as well as school holiday camps. Key Responsibilities Include: Leading the day-day management of the before and after school provision as well as holiday clubs Oversee team members, play workers, supervisors etc. directing the work carried out and monitoring a variety of activities Communicate well with all those involved in the club and be the main point of contact with parents and carers. Train new starters and work in partnership with the school leadership team to identify training needs and provide an appraisal system for staff Ensure the safety of all children and adult staff complying with safeguarding, and other relevant policies and procedures Maintain all records relevant to the running of the club ensuring confidentiality and data protection of the children, families and staff members Managing the attendance registers, ordering necessary equipment, food and overseeing the finances and budget Ensure adequate standards of safety and hygiene and conduct relevant risk assessments and reporting of hazards and accidents This exciting role is ideal for an experienced educator with direct experience with children to make a strong impact in the provision beyond the school day.
