About the Role: Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a friendly and motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sheffield. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will support the class teachers within EYFS, including both indoor and outdoor learning. The role is a full-time position from Monday to Friday each week. The hours will be 8.30am-3.30pm each day. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Planning and Delivery: Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons. Support Pupils: Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups in addition to whole class support. Classroom Management: Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to continually improve your skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Experience working in a primary school or young people setting. Prior experience working with students within a primary school setting Strong understanding of the EYFS national curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desirable: Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Experience in supporting children with special educational needs.
