Financial Reporting Accountant - London Fixed Term Contract, Full Time /Hybrid About Us The Titan Wealth Group is a wealth and asset management business bringing high quality execution and administration to the sector through leverage of the Group’s resources and technology. We meet universal wealth and asset management needs by supporting our own as well as client IFAs and DFMs with innovative, quality and integrated solutions that drive efficiency into every part of the wealth management cycle. We are an active acquirer of DFMs and IFA’s in the UK, following an aggressive growth trajectory, having trebled in size from the initial acquisition of “GPP” under two years ago. Our strategy sees strong organic growth within the near term coupled with significantly larger acquisitions. We currently manage ten entities attracting taxation, mostly UK-orientated with exposure to Jersey and South Africa. Group Financial Accountant will report into the Group Finance Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the consolidated and subsidiary numbers are robust and align with internal accounting policy and UK GAAP. This will be a 6-9 month FTC. Job Responsibilities * Ensure the subsidiaries report figures per Group accounting policy * Ensure statutory compliance for all subsidiaries * Preparation and analysis of the Group Consolidation (UK GAAP) including responsibility for intercompany loans and elimination entries * Ensure the financial statements are in full compliance with FRS 102 * Year-end planning, preparation of audit requests & Balance sheet review. * Preparation of the consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary accounts. * Providing ongoing support and financial training to junior finance staff to improve their financial knowledge needed to make operational and business decisions. * Liaising and coordinating with the external auditors * Prepare quarterly VAT reporting for the Group * Assist with the financial accounting and reporting aspects of any acquisition integrations including fair value adjustments, goodwill calculation and consolidation of acquired balances * Adopt a continuous improvement approach and work with stakeholders to develop streamlined, high quality and efficient processes * To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required. * Adhere to consumer duty. Job Requirements * Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)/Part Qualified will be considered * Previous Financial Services experience preferable * Intermediate experience with Excel; NetSuite experience advantageous * High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills, accuracy and analytical skills * Strong self-management and motivational skills to learn and deliver on key responsibilities * Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively across different teams * Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner * Willingness to learn and develop as the company grows Our employees are talented people, distinguished by excellence.
