Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (Key Stage 1) Location: [School Location] Start Date: November 2024 Contract Type: Full-Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Key Stage 1 team starting in November 2024. The role involves working closely with young learners and supporting their individual educational and developmental needs. Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to Key Stage 1 students, including those with additional learning needs. Assist with personal care and ensure pupils' well-being in a nurturing and safe environment. Support classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery, promoting active learning and engagement. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging the development of social and communication skills. Assist with one-on-one and small group interventions to support pupil progress. Learning Support Assistant Requirements: Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting. Comfort and experience in assisting with personal care tasks. A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude, with the ability to build strong rapport with children.
