Electrical Design Engineer

V7 Recruitment are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work permanently for one of our reputable clients on high value Data Centre projects based in Manchester. The client is a well-established M&E construction business that specialise in Critical Infrastructure and Data Centre Projects. Ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have the following skills Electrical engineering qualifications (or similar field) HNC in electrical engineering (City & Guilds 2396 considered) Experience in engineering design, in Data Centers would be preferred Amtech / AutoCAD / Microsoft experience is preferred Willing to travel Rights to work in the UK Excellent communication skills In return they are offering An attractive, competitive salary package Professional training Career development opportunities Electrical Design Engineer Duties will include Produce electrical designs and schematics for critical environments Perform design calculations and lighting design Conduct site surveys and write engineering reports Develop proposals, attend design meetings, and liaise with sub-contractors Communicate with site teams for installation/commissioning and assist procurement Data Centre installations, UPS, and generator systems
