Java Contractor Location: Belfast (Hybrid, 2 days in office) Contract: 6 months (potential extension) Day Rate: £500-£550 per day (Inside IR35) Start Date: Immediate Company Overview: Join a leading global FinTech firm, working on high-performance systems that drive financial innovation. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Java Contractor with expertise in low-latency systems, SQL, and data warehousing. You will build scalable solutions for mission-critical platforms, with hands-on work using Apache Beam, Google Data flow, and Big Query. Key Responsibilities: Develop low-latency Java applications for financial services Optimise SQL and manage large data sets Build data pipelines with Apache Beam, Google Dataflow, and BigQuery Ensure system reliability and performance Required Skills: Strong Java (8+) and SQL, with experience in low-latency systems Data warehousing experience (BigQuery or similar) Knowledge of Apache Beam, Google Dataflow Cloud experience (Google Cloud preferred) Desirable: FinTech experience, familiarity with real-time data and trading systems How to Apply: Please send your CV to Jennifer or contact Jennifer for more information on this and other contracting roles.
