HGV Class 1 Driver

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients busy distribution centre based in Bellshill as a Class 1 Driver, working 5 shifts a week. Call now to arrange assessment - 31st October Class 1 Delivery Driver Days - Approx 04.00-06.00 start times. Nights – Approx 18.00 Start times. 10-12 hour shifts. Usually 1 or 2 drops only. Start ASAP for ongoing work – assessment required on 31st October. Pay Rates are as follows: Weekdays Days (06:00 - 1800) - £15.45ph (+£1.86ph Holiday pay up front = £17.31ph) Nights (18.00-06:00 - £19.57ph (+£2.36ph Holiday pay up front = £21.93ph) Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities Store Deliveries Loading & unloading required - Cages, Dollies & Rails. Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab. Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving. Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position Great work ethic. Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience. Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card. Be professional and presentable at all times. Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances. Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license. No IN10, TT99 or DR10
