Quality Controller Nights

Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in March who are looking for Quality Controllers to join their busy team. About the Business: Our client is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from 2 production facilities. About The Role: This role includes operating the Optical Graders to ensure the potatoes are packed to the correct quality standard and customer specification. We have several vacancies available including days and nights. NIGHT SHIFT- Monday to Friday, 18:00 – 02:30 Pay rate - £13.85 per hour ( £28,808 per year) This is PERMANENT position. Roles and Responsibilities: · To complete Intake quality assessments when required and send daily reports to suppliers. · Monitor product during packing process (checking quality, approvals, labelling, packaging and other specific requirement and specifications) and liaising with production teams throughout. · To have a comprehensive understanding of customer specifications and packing requirements. · To carry out sample preparation process and assist technical team when required. · Calibrate measuring equipment. About you: · Evidence of experience working in a comparable role, preferably within the food industry · Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to handle several tasks at once. · Good IT skills including experience of Word and Excel · Strong appreciation of our business needs and resourcefulness in coming up with solutions to their challenges This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business who invest in people.
