Senior Network & Security Architect

A Network & Security Cloud Architect is needed to join a global SaaS organisation. Day to day this Architect will design, implement, and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, performance, and compliance. You will bring a strong background in cloud computing, network design, and security best practices, along with expertise in AWS networking and security services. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and management of our secure cloud network architecture. Ensure compliance and mitigate risks by applying security principles and best practices. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enhance scalability and automation. Optimise cloud network performance, resilience, and scalability. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle. Lead incident response and continuous threat monitoring efforts. Build strong internal and external relationships to drive collaborative success. Qualifications: Extensive AWS networking and security experience, including tools like AWS Transit Gateway, AWS WAF, and GuardDuty. Proficient in network security protocols and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Experience with Terraform and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD). Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCNP Security, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus. Strong communication and leadership abilities with a collaborative approach.
