Senior Solutions design manager

A Senior Solutions Design Manager is required to support and guide a team in the design and implementation of complex supply chain solutions for a leading UK 3rd Party Logistics provider. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics solutions design processes, optimisation and innovation, with a focus on ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Description Work as part of a team focusing on the design and implementation of complex warehousing solutions solutions. Provide technical support to the Business development team in customer meetings Work closely with the business development and account development teams to create bespoke tender responses. Oversee solution design projects to sometime tight timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Provide support to the Operational teams to assist innovation and efficiency that ensures alignment with strategic objectives. Identify and implement efficiency improvements in the supply chain process. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, innovations and best practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the department.Profile A successful 'Senior Solutions Design Manager' should have: A strong educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Proven experience in a similar solutions design role within the transport and distribution industry. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data (Exel, Access or similar) expertise in Warehouse modelling and layout tools is highly advantageous (AutoCad, Sketchup, CLASS or similar). Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Knowledge of different quality compliance requirements for various sectors (Food, Bond, Pharma, healthcare, high value etc.) Job Offer An estimated salary range of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.
