Job Title: SEN Learner Assistant Location: Sutton, London School Type: Primary SEND School Salary: £90 - £100 per day Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated SEN Learner Assistant to join our team at a dedicated SEND school in Sutton, London. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them achieve both academic and personal development goals. Work closely with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and develop strategies that address each student's unique learning needs. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that focuses on the social and emotional well-being of all students. Assist with classroom activities, contributing to a positive and engaging learning experience for every student. Maintain clear communication with parents, carers, and other stakeholders by providing regular progress updates and insights.Requirements: Previous experience working with SEN learners is highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to meet the needs of students with SEN. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate a variety of learning styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred due to the location of the school in Sutton.Salary and Benefits: This role offers a competitive daily rate between £90 and £100, based on your experience and qualifications.
