Job Type: Contract inside IR 35 Pay: £20.37-£25.37 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekend availability) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 21/10/2024 Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join a high-profiled location for an important client of ours. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Job Responsibilities: Conduct maintenance and repairs of electrical services, including air conditioning systems, lighting, and distribution equipment. Install electrical services such as power and lighting systems, adhering to safety procedures. Maintain and repair low voltage sub-main distribution equipment and electrical heating systems. Fault-find and test electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety standards. Overhaul light fittings, ventilation systems, and other market-related infrastructure. Use hydraulic platforms and other machinery for repairs and maintenance across market premises. Repair and maintain control systems such as forklift charging bays, roller shutters, and refrigeration-related pumps and motors. Undertake meter reading services and replacement of faulty meters. Adhere to health and safety and equal opportunity policies, ensuring a safe and inclusive working environment. Key Requirements: Electrical certification or equivalent in relevant trade. Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repairs, preferably in a market or commercial environment. Knowledge of occupational health and safety policies, with the ability to work in confined spaces. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours.
