Job title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Harlow, Essex Setting: Mainstream Primary School Start date: Immediate start Duration: Temp to Perm Pay: £87.00 - £95.00 per day Active Recruitment are currently seeking a strong Special Needs Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting young children with Autism and Social & Emotional Needs. You will be supporting children with Special Educational Needs (Autism, Emotional Behaviour Difficulties, Learning Difficulties) in small groups and one to one. The ideal candidate will have: * The ability to assess the individual learning needs of pupils * The ability to positively manage challenging behaviour * A positive attitude, the ability to empathise and a willingness to develop and learn on the job * Be calm, patient and caring approach to working with children * Experience working with pupils with ASD.
