Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. We have a fantastic opportunity for Baseline Estimating & Change Lead. Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.The Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Baseline Estimating & Change Lead to join the Sizewell C project team. Sizewell C is a significant infrastructure project that will play a critical role in the UK's energy future. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the project, managing and leading key aspects of the project's cost and change control processes. Key Responsibilities: Strategic leadership and line management of the Baseline and Change Management Lead Function Establishment of a Baseline and Change Management Framework and embedment within SZC Delivery and advancement of ‘Digital by Default’ for the Baseline and Change Management Function Build and maintain a high performing team with direct line management and functional management of resources deployed into the SZC delivery teams. Accountable for the on-time production and quality of all month end data sets and performance reports related to Baseline and Change Management. Ensure SZC is viewed by the Construction Industry as an exemplar in Baseline and Change Management through knowledge sharing, networking and delivering presentations to the sector. Management of stakeholders across SZC from Board to Delivery Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Active membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar association with association certifications is highly desirable. Experience: Extensive experience in baseline estimating, cost control, and change management, ideally within large-scale construction, infrastructure, or energy projects. Proven track record of managing and leading estimating and change control functions in complex project environments. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
