Health Safety & Environmental Manager Package: * £50-55k base salary * Vehicle * Fuel Card * 4% Pension * 24 Holidays * Stats * Flexible working hours * Life Insurance * Location: Midlands (Remote/Hybrid) This thriving and ambitious business is looking for a HSE Manager to join their busy team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this hands on, mobile role will see you driving HSE practices for our business activities at industrial client sites across the country. The Company This established, growing business have been providing electrical contracting services to a variety of manufacturing sectors for over 25 years, building solid reputation of quality and service in some of the most demanding industrial environments. The Role This hands on, varied role is largely remote, involving extensive travel to customer sites throughout the UK, alongside home working and 1 day per week in the Derbyshire based office. Key deliverables: * Completion of site based HSE & Compliance audits * In person delivery of inductions & toolbox talks * Compiling monthly HSEQ reports * Preparation of RAMS, safe systems of work and project related risk management documentation * Management of current and future accreditations including ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 * Performing accident & incident investigations, utilising route cause analysis and providing advice on preventative measures to mitigate risk * Conducting occupational health & safety surveys including lighting, noise & exposure to chemical substances and making relevant recommendations The Person The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability and desire to take on full ownership of this exciting, varied role.
