Tutor / Asseessor

Adult Education, classroom, remote tutors We are looking for experienced Tutors/assessors to join our team who can deliver Health and Social Care, Team Leading, Functional skills and or customer service. Our Tutors plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills to support learners, You will provide valuable input to our quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for classroom led sector and employer led courses. Your key task is the delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment and that encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision and progress into employment. Location: Remote - some classroom learning will be expected - Travelling to different sites Benefits: Work from home, flexitime Pay: Pay is competitive and is subject to assessors’ skills, qualities, experience, and speed. Essential Criteria: · Must hold Assessor Award, CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent and a teaching qualification · A minimum of 2 years’ current experience assessing / teaching · Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity and quality assurance · Must have a proficient level of ICT skills and understanding of e-portfolios · Possess excellent communication skills · Be a team player · Possess a full clean driving licence with access to transport · Must be flexible with travel to include workplace observations Duties include: · Support learners working towards there qualifications · Managing your time effectively and your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted. · Organise and maintain online documentation on learners' progress. · Support, advise and motivate learners. · Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. · Attend assessor standardisation · Liaise with the internal verifier on a 1-1 monthly basis
