PVS an award winning small business in Axbridge, Somerset, with people at the heart of everything it does. As PVS continues to grow we are looking for a Lead data analyst to head our Innovation division. Located in our Axbridge offices, the successful applicant will support the Fleet team by providing regular, timely, accurate reports and visualisations of the Fleet teams long term clients. Additionally, the successful applicant will work on data analysis projects that form part of our business consultancy whilst managing a team of their own.
We are looking for a well-rounded individual with the ability to pay attention to detail, communicate well and be highly organised. It is essential that you not only understand the data but be able to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication.
Areas of responsibility:
Collecting, consolidating and pre-formatting customer data
Uploading customer data to our cloud-based MI portal
Analysing and summarising customer data in an easy and understandable way
Creating, modifying, and updating client dashboards within our cloud-based MI portal
Support with data analysis projects in other areas of the business
Assist in the development of automated data management processes
Day to Day management of a small team
Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
Summarising data and report writing Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
Knowledge of data analysis tools Microsoft Excel in particular
Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing and data enrichment techniques
Fleet and Leasing industry experience well received but not essential
The ability to develop and document procedures and workflows
The ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
The ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations
General Attributes:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate finance issues with non-finance professionals
Confidence to question and challenge data analysis
Be able to use own initiative
Ability to work well within a small team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good planning and organisational skills
Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Other responsibilities:
