Learning Support Assistant

An inclusive primary school in East Manchester is looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work in our specialist provision. In this role, you will support a non-verbal child who is currently working below age-expected levels and requires additional supervision due to a tendency to wander. About the Role: Location: East Manchester Position: Teaching Assistant (Specialist Provision) Responsibilities: One-to-one support for a non-verbal child, helping them engage in daily learning activities, develop essential life skills, and ensuring their safety in and around school.We're Looking for Someone Who: Has a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs. Is proactive, patient, and understanding. Can respond quickly and calmly to keep the child safe and engaged.
