Maintenance Engineer

Service and Maintenance Engineer Gateshead Salary £38,000 - £45,000 (OTE up to £65,000) Position Overview : CRS are currently working with an industry leading North East based company to help them find their newest team members. As a member of the engineering team, you will be delivering the highest level of service to their customers as an Electrically biased Service and Maintenance Engineer. Your role will consist of inspecting, servicing, repairing and maintaining equipment across a range of industries. This is a mobile position so a full driving license is essential. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance across multiple sites within the area * Be able to confidently identify and fault find without technical drawings * Repair and service customers machinery * Be able to provide customers with advice on safety and operational improvements Qualifications and Experience: * Electro-mechanically trained (electrically qualified) * A strong electrical background would be beneficial * Understanding and knowledge of electrical drawings would be an advantage * Experience in an industrial sector would * Comfortable working at height (essential) * Valid UK Driving License * Excellent fault finding experience * LEEA qualifications would be advantageous but not essential * Experience within an industrial / manufacturing setting would be advantageous Salary and Benefits: * £38-45,000 Plus OTE up to £65,000 * Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm + overtime available * 33 days holiday including bank holidays * Life Assurance * Company vehicle & fuel including personal allowance * Company mobile phone * On going training (IPAF, FLT, Working at heights etc) If you are an electrically biased maintenance engineer looking for their next role apply or call Sara on (phone number removed) for more information
