Salary-Circa 27k per annum
Monday-Friday double days rotation 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm
The company:
You will be joining a national leader in the production of chemical products used in several industries, from beauty, self-care, medical and more.
Due to rapid progression, they are looking for a factory compounder to join their factory team based in Ware. Someone from a chemical manufacturing/factory background would be well suited to this role.
As a factory compounder, you will be required to support the factory compounding team in ensuring both volume and productivity level are met. Ensure batch specifications are followed. Attention to accuracy of measurements as required on the batch form to the workload as specified by customer guidelines.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- To manufacture batches in an accurate, safe, tidy and timely manner
- To replenish stocks/supplies when required
- Fill the finished batches into the final pack when required
- To take a role in continuous improvement of processes
- Accurate input of Batch data orders via computer system
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a chemical production environment.
- Experience operating a forklift (Current Licence is desirable)
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Experience working to close quality measures.
- Able to work within a team or alone.
