Job Title: Field Garage Equipment Engineer Locations: Various locations in Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Central Belt, Dundee, Elgin, Inverness) Salary: Up to £37,000 depending on experience Mon-Fri, 40-hour week Who you'll be working for Our client is the one of the UK's largest Garage Equipment providers Job Purpose You'll be an integral team member - a home-based Field Engineer. You will be provided with a fully racked van, PDA and phone to ensure a smooth service is provided Main Responsibilities Carry out diagnostic tests, service, maintenance or breakdown fixes on a wide range of garage equipment products including vehicle lifts, brake testers, MOT bays, gas analysers, tyre changers etc., as well as smaller tools Completion and submission of accurate paperwork as required, complying with the Quality System Compliance and adherence to laws and regulations covering Health & Safety within the workplace Ensuring control of own van stock to meet First Time Fix targets Continued development of skills required, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standardTypical Skills & Experience Full knowledge of working with mechanical and electrical garage equipment is essential (hydraulic and pneumatic experience is preferable) To have good working knowledge and experience of activities in a field service environment Able to follow procedures and work instructions, working to specified standards To be flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary Confident and able to work under own initiative Excellent communication skills - dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels Full clean UK driving licence is essentialBenefits Competitive Pension Scheme Life Assurance Employee Assistance Programme - Family cover 25 days holiday (26 after 5 years) plus bank holidays Fuel Card The Curve Group is a dynamic Recruitment Services and Human Resources business with an ongoing mission to transform the working lives of the people it does business with.
