The QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the company's SaaS product offerings. This individual will focus primarily on automation, driving the implementation and maintenance of automated test frameworks to streamline testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automated testing, a deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), and a passion for ensuring the seamless delivery of software solutions. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing of the company's SaaS products. Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, operations) to understand business and technical requirements, contributing to the creation of comprehensive test strategies and test plans. Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure fast, reliable feedback on software quality, reducing manual testing efforts. Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to ensure that software meets the required quality standards. Track and report bugs, issues, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders. Quality Assurance Best Practices: Promote and implement QA best practices, processes, and tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that software releases are of the highest quality. Regression Testing: Ensure effective regression testing by expanding and maintaining the automation test suite to cover new features and potential issues introduced by code changes. Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, or similar, as applied to automation frameworks. Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to integrate automated tests into the software delivery pipeline. SaaS Product Testing: Familiarity with testing SaaS applications, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges presented by cloud-based environments and multi-tenant architectures. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating closely with development teams in an iterative, fast-paced setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance.
