Our business provides transport and storage solutions to the scientific sectors for high-consequence consignments (eg biological samples, vaccines, hazardous materials etc). The business is part of a growing group of specialised B2B logistics businesses, with further opportunities to grow for the right person down the line.This fractional role will involve:Customer Development: speaking regularly with existing customers and exploring additional sales opportunitiesDirect Sales: cold phone, email and Linkedin outreach to new B2B prospects within our chosen sectorsYou will be provided with warm and cold leads. The aim will be to bring leads who are ready to book to our operations team, who will process bookings. We are looking for a highly pro-active individual who:Is a hustler! I.e. takes the initiative and loves to 'knock doors down'Rapidly creates relationships with strangers and knows when too pushy is too pushyIs relatively tech-savvy and comfortable using Google SheetsThe role is mostly remote, with potentially some occasional travel to Cambridge (travel costs covered).Remuneration: Initially this is a part-time roleRemuneration is £15 / h, plus commission 10-20 hours per week (flexible to your availability)For the right person, this could evolve into a full-time role with the opportunity to share in the success of a very fast-growing group.
