Class 1 Driver

Mainstay are recruiting for a LONG TERM HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Cannock, Staffordshire.   This role involves deliveries of packaging products on a curtain-side vehicle. Shifts starts 13:30 Monday to Friday, and drivers will likely complete 40 – 50 hours of work per week. The number of drops vary depending on the location. This is a highly desirable role within a company with a great culture and support structure. The vehicles are new and well maintained. This vacancy would suit somebody looking to settle into a long term role in a well run company. This is a long term position with a view to going permanent with the client after 12 weeks.   Realistic Weekly Earnings: £641 – £802 per week   Pay Rates: Monday To Friday – £16.04 PAYE  Details: Class 1 delivery of packaging products Minimal handball involved, mainly delivering products like cardboard and bubble wrap Number of deliveries vary depanding on location of delivery, usually between 1-4 drops per day Start 13:30 daily Monday to Friday Requirements: Minimum 12 months Class 2 experience Maximum 6 endorsement points for minor offences  Benefits of working for Mainstay: Collectively over 40 years of experience within the transport industry.
